Lloydminster Dog Show: Sept 28-29

On September 28-29 I went to Lloydminster for a dog show and brought along Vito. We attempted out first trials in Master rally obedience and we had some success and also learned a lot on our weaknesses. We qualified one out of three times.

Masters rally obedience requires you to have a score of at least 85/100 to pass.

Although we only passed once, we now know what we need to practice on and hopefully at our next show in Camrose we will have improved enough to get another leg towards our title.

Practice leads to improvements

Taking your dog to a obedience class is a great first step. However one hour a week for 8 weeks is only the beginning. Dogs require consistent work and there is always something new for them to learn.
